ES Group carries out service maintenance of stud tensioners at Khmelnytsky NPP, as an exclusive representative of Tensor AB
Czech ES Group Europe s.r.o. delivered spare parts kits for Khmelnytsky NPP power unit 1 in an expeditious manner for the maintenance of TG-160/180 stud tensioners for the main connector sealing of VVER-1000 reactor and the reactor coolant pump RCP-195M-TGC-65-81 manufactured by Swedish Tensor.
As of today, the spare parts kits have passed the incoming inspection. The company is starting the service maintenance of tensioner components, as well as the system for unscrewing and tightening the studs, tensioner balancing cylinder, hydraulic systems and pump station of the stud tensioners.
The service maintenance plan was approved by Tensor AB based on the 2020 inspection results of the current condition of the equipment for main connector sealing of the reactor and connector of the RCP. The plan includes the supply of necessary materials and spare parts, as well as maintenance and testing services.
Tensor AB is a developer and manufacturer of hydraulic products for the nuclear, chemical, oil and power industries. Ukrainian NPPs have been cooperating with the Swedish company for more than 10 years in order to stop dependence on Russian manufacturers of products for NPPs with VVER reactors.
