WALTER TOSTO AND ENERGY SAFETY GROUP ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP IN THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY

The Italian company Walter Tosto and the Ukrainian-Czech group of companies ENERGY SAFETY GROUP have announced a strategic partnership to jointly implement projects in the construction and modernization of nuclear power plants in Europe and Ukraine. This decision is the result of long-term negotiations that began with their first meeting at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2023 in Paris.

During recent visits, ENERGY SAFETY GROUP and Walter Tosto verified and assessed each other’s production facilities and capabilities. This exchange built confidence in their expertise and operational standards, affirming their commitment to collaborate. The partnership emerged from their mutual decision to trust each other as partners.

Within the framework of the consortium, the partners plan to implement joint projects in the construction of new nuclear power plants, as well as in the modernization and safety enhancement of existing power units.

The partnership places special emphasis on equipment crucial for NPP safety, including heat exchangers, process equipment, and lifting systems, all designed and manufactured in-house by Walter Tosto. These systems are modernized and qualified according to stringent international standards, enabling critical operations to be carried out with the highest level of reliability.

Both companies are qualified suppliers to leading global nuclear market players including the Ukrainian state-owned operator NNEGC “Energoatom”.
