Technical Director of ES Group participated in the workshop on countering disinformation held by the US National Laboratory Oak Ridge
Technical Director of ES Group Oleksandr Mazurok participated in “Countering Nuclear Energy Disinformation” workshop held in September by Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
“The event is very useful and relevant for Ukrainian specialists, given the fact of the hybrid war waged by russia, including on the nuclear energy front”, Oleksandr Mazurok noted. “Today, it is very important to have the ability to detect disinformation thrown into the information space through the dubious Internet resources and by various kinds of experts who do not bear any responsibility for its dissemination, as well as to counteract it”, he added.
The expert of ES Group received the certificate for participation in the workshop.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is the largest scientific national laboratory of the US Department of Energy. The ORNL’s research areas are: materials science, neutron physics, energy, high-performance computing, systems biology, national security.
