ENERGY SAFETY GROUP CO-CHAIRS THE UKRNS SCIENTIFIC AND ANALYTICAL SECTION
Oleksandr Mazurok, Ph.D., General Director of Energy Safety Group LLC (part of the Ukrainian-Czech group of companies ENERGY SAFETY GROUP), together with Ivan Chepurko, instructor of the Rivne NPP Training Centre, was elected co-chairmen of the Scientific and Analytical Section of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society. His election took place within the framework of the V Reporting and Election Conference of the public organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” (UkrNS), which took place in June in Kyiv. Chief of PSA Dept of the Energy Safety Group Mykhailo Polianskyi presented the company at the event.
The section brings together leading industry experts to analyze trends in nuclear energy development, discuss technological innovations, safety issues and formulate proposals for regulators and policy makers.
“It is a great honor for me to become co-chairman of the UkrNS Scientific and Analytical Section. In these difficult times for Ukraine and our energy sector, it is extremely important to strengthen the expert community, support knowledge exchange and promote informed decision-making in the nuclear industry”, said Oleksandr Mazurok, who is also a member of the UkrNS Board.
Energy Safety Group LLC is included in the list of partner organizations of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society and takes an active part in the activities of UkrNS, joining the initiatives of the public organization as partners and jury members.
