ENERGY SAFETY GROUP TOOK PART IN INUDECO-2025 CONFERENCE
ENERGY SAFETY GROUP traditionally took part in the International Conference INUDECO, which for the tenth time brought together representatives of the nuclear industry, scientists and industry experts in Slavutych to discuss the problems of decommissioning of nuclear facilities and environmental restoration.
This year’s conference was devoted to addressing problems and prospects in the field of nuclear decommissioning, radioactive waste management and environmental restoration, especially in the context of technogenic disasters such as Chernobyl and Fukushima. The event was aimed at promoting scientific and practical research, establishing cooperation and exchange of experience between representatives of the public and private sectors, non-governmental and academic organizations. The discussions covered the use of sustainable development criteria, energy policy priorities and the role of nuclear energy in the current environment.
In addition, the Ukrainian Nuclear Society, of which ENERGY SAFETY GROUP is a member, held a special panel discussion on key issues of nuclear generation development in Ukraine, including the prospects for the construction of new nuclear power units and technological aspects of such projects.
