ES GROUP PARTICIPATED IN THE MEETING OF THE AMBASSADOR OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC PETR PIRUNČÍK WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ARMENIAN NPP
ES Group, Skoda JS a.s., and ZAT a.s. participated in the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Petr Pirunčík with the management of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, which took place last month. During the visit, the results of cooperation between the Armenian NPP and Czech companies and its expansion were discussed.
Miroslav Prudik, ES Group representative, informed about the successful implementation of projects, including the supply of mobile diesel generators for the Armenian NPP under the contract with the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA) – contract No. INSC/2021/427-857 and INSC/2021/430-146.
As noted by the Armenian side, the delivered information will be useful for expansion of cooperation and establishment of new relations.
As a reminder, ES Group signed the contract with the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA) to supply alternative energy sources in case of a power unit blackout at the end of 2021. This project, which ES Group is implementing jointly with Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC, is funded by the European Commission under the European Union’s Nuclear Safety Program INSC for Armenia, a program to improve the resilience of nuclear power units in the event of a station blackout. Similar and many other measures are being implemented at other European nuclear power plants after the Fukushima accident in 2011.
