ES Group will manufacture equipment for water-chemical control mode enhancement on KhNPP Unit 2
ES Group Europe s.r.o., a part of the Czech-Ukrainian group of companies ES Group, won a tender for equipment supply for an automated water chemistry control system modernization on primary and secondary circuits. The Contract for the supply was signed on May 11, 2022. The equipment is purchased by SE NNEGC Energoatom for implementation at Khmelnytskyi NPP Unit 2 within the Measure No. 14406 of the Complex Consolidated Safety Upgrade Program for Ukrainian NPP (CCSUP).
Based on the obtained experience, ES Group within the given equipment supply will use the most progressive technical solutions and the highest quality components in the world market.
The above-mentioned CCSUP Measure has been already implemented at most units of Ukrainian NPPs. Its implementation is important because it ensures informing the control room and chemistry division operating personnel about the water chemistry mode status, alarms of deviations from the norm in water chemistry parameters, generation of diagnostic messages, dosage optimization and reagents consumption considering power unit operation regimes, resources process control automation and filters efficiency, information support of operators’ actions, etc.
