Successful completion of a crucial milestone in the project to modernize the RRCS system for the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant
ZAT a.s., an established manufacturer of nuclear control systems, successfully concluded, in collaboration with ES Group Europe s.r.o., a significant milestone in the project to modernize the RRCS system for the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant towards the end of 2023 – the processing and handover of the implementation project.
In March 2023, ZAT a.s. signed a contract with the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant for the modernization of the RRCS system, which controls the reactor control rods for the 5th and 6th blocks. One of the main partners in executing the project is ES Group Europe s.r.o., which provides support to ZAT a.s. in all project phases, including project management, communication with other subcontractors, documentation processing, all tailored to the specifics of the Bulgarian market and local conditions. Specialists from ES Group Europe s.r.o. bring unique experiences gained from similar projects to this one.
For both ZAT a.s. and ES Group Europe s.r.o., this project means a significant milestone as the first deployment of a Czech control system at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. The delivery and commissioning of the system are anticipated in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
