Energy Safety Group participated in the Czech-French Nuclear Industry Summit

On April 4, leading French and Czech companies met in Prague to discuss cooperation within the framework of the nuclear program in the Czech Republic, France and other European countries.

One of the contenders for the construction of new nuclear facilities in the Czech Republic is the French company EDF. The French side plans not only to build four power units but also extensively engage Czech colleagues in the project. “We need nuclear energy for our future, and both of our countries share this approach”, French President Emmanuel Macron stressed in his speech at the forum.

“Our industry is very strong and its position is unique”, emphasized Josef Perlik, Director of the Czech Power Industry Alliance. Czech companies have experienced experts and nuclear know-how, which they have long applied in the construction and modification of nuclear power plants at home and around the world.

During the summit, representatives of ENERGY SAFETY GROUP met with their friends, colleagues and regular partners from NUVIA Group, EQUANS – INEO Nucléaire, MIRION TECHNOLOGIES, EGIS, EDF, ASSYSTEM, CENTRALP, FRAMATOME, MONTEIRO, CAPGEMINI ENGINEERING, APAVE, EKIUM, BEAUDREY, TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING, BOCCARD. Today, ENERGY SAFETY GROUP successfully launches and implements its projects and is actively involved in the development of the European energy sector. Vadym Ivanov, CEO of ENERGY SAFETY GROUP, noted that after the meetings and negotiations held at the forum, the company plans to strengthen its cooperation and actively participate in the construction of new energy facilities and modernization of existing ones.

The summit was organized by the Czech Power Industry Alliance CPIA, which unites the largest Czech suppliers in the nuclear power industry, and GIFEN, the French Nuclear Industry Association. The main goal of the event was to explore the possibilities of cooperation between France and the Czech Republic in the field of nuclear energy.
