ES Group included into the Register of Qualified Suppliers for Westinghouse
After the audit, ES Group has been qualified as a service provider to Westinghouse in the joint projects for Ukrainian NPPs with VVER-440 and VVER-1000 reactors.
The representatives of Westinghouse conducted the audit in the following areas:
- quality control;
- project activities for the introduction of new equipment (analysis of severe accidents, development of the project for the integration of equipment and installation, etc.);
- production of components by suppliers, transportation, installation supervision;
- personnel training;
- development of “as built” documentation;
- analytical justification services for Westinghouse fuel validation.
Based on the audit results, no inconsistencies were identified, one observation was made, four suggestions for improvement were given, and six best practices were indicated.
Therefore, ES Group has been identified as a qualified service provider for Westinghouse in implementing its projects at the operating Ukrainian NPPs.
