FINAL OF THE NUCLEAR INNOVATORS 2024 COMPETITION
On April 30, the final of the annual competition “NUCLEAR INNOVATORS-2024”, founded by the Ukrainian Nuclear Society (UkrNS), was held. Nuclear experts, representatives of specialized organizations and enterprises presented their research projects at the competition. The participants included experts from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Rivne NPP, and a representative of the Polish company Radium Energy Sp. z o.
The announcement of the competition results is expected on May 7 and by that time the jury will continue final evaluation of the projects. The members of the jury include representatives from specialized educational institutions, organizations and enterprises, among whom are specialists from the American Nuclear Society, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Energy Safety Group, which supported the event this year. “It is extremely important to promote the development of the industry today, because we create the future of nuclear energy and ensure its improvement”, said jury representative Oleksandr Mazurok, Technical Director of Energy Safety Group and Member of the Board of Directors of UkrNS.
