ENERGY SAFETY GROUP HELD WORKING MEETINGS IN POLAND ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF NPPS USING AP-1000 TECHNOLOGY

Warsaw, May 2025 – Vadym Ivanov and Oleksandr Mazurok, CEOs of ENERGY SAFETY GROUP, held a series of strategic meetings in Poland to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the construction of new nuclear power plants using AP-1000 technology.

Two key meetings were organized during the visit – with the Polish Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PAA) and the Polish office of Westinghouse Electric Company.

During the negotiations, the ENERGY SAFETY GROUP team presented the company’s technical and management capabilities and shared many years of practical experience in participating in nuclear energy projects, including in cooperation with the Ukrainian regulator and Westinghouse Electric in Ukraine.

The main purpose of the meetings was to discuss the potential of applying Ukrainian experience to the implementation of new nuclear projects in Poland, in particular, the construction of power units based on AP-1000 technology. The parties also discussed the possibility of ENERGY SAFETY GROUP’s participation in future joint initiatives in the energy sector.

The Polish regulator acquainted the Ukrainian delegation with the peculiarities of the national regulatory framework in the field of nuclear safety, and Westinghouse representatives shared the market model of project implementation in Poland.

These meetings became an important step towards deepening international partnership in the field of nuclear energy. The company continues to work on promising areas of cooperation in the construction of new nuclear power units with AP-1000 reactors.

ENERGY SAFETY GROUP expresses its gratitude for the openness to cooperation and interest in joint development of innovative energy solutions in Europe.
