ES Group has manufactured and timely delivered two mobile nitrogen generation stations for the critical infrastructure of the Gas Transmission System Operator

In 2021-2022 ES Group Europe s.r.o. designed and manufactured two mobile nitrogen generation stations with a Cummins diesel engine, designed to produce nitrogen gas of a 90% concentration from the atmospheric air directly at the place of use. The systems were designed under the individual requirements of LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine).

The mobile nitrogen generation station has standard dimensions for transportation by public roads without additional permits. It is installed in a specialized container of ISO 20 ft size and placed on the chassis of the Iveco off-road container truck with the 6×6 drive.

The specialized container accomodates the subsystems that allow the use of the nitrogen generation station at the ambient temperature from minus 30°C to plus 45°C.

The subsystems can be connected to the external power supply in order to perform maintenance, provide lighting of the place of application in the dark season.

The mobile nitrogen generation station is certified in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. The station was designed jointly with the LLC Dalgakiran Ukraine.

Due to the military aggression of the russian federation, this equipment is important for Ukraine now, as it facilitates the conduct of fire hazardous work during scheduled and emergency repairs of gas transmission infrastructure facilities.

ES Group is truly grateful to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic for assisting in timely supply of the equipment. Due to prolonged problems in supply chain caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the delivery of Iveco vehicle chassis was initially scheduled to shift from March to July 2022. Therefore, the delivery of the entire transport platform was postponed to October 2022, which would mean the delay in the completion of manufacturing the mobile generation stations to the spring of 2023. Despite two-month negotiations and appeals to the Iveco manufacturing plant in Madrid, including from the side of LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine, to arrange the timely and extremely necessary delivery, given the energy security of Ukraine and all of Europe, the Spanish supplier insisted on postponing the contract.

And only after appeals to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic, through the created International Platform “Nazovni”, which works efficiently, promptly and without unnecessary bureaucracy, Iveco agreed that the supply of two chassis under the ES Group contract for the LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine received the priority status.
