ENERGY SAFETY GROUP is a partner of the XVI International Scientific and Technical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists “Problems of Modern Nuclear Energy”
The scientific and technical conference, which discussed the ways of developing nuclear energy and improving the safety of operating reactors, was organized by the Ukrainian Nuclear Society, the National Scientific Center “Karazin Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology”. The event was held with the support of Khmelnytsky NPP and ENERGY SAFETY GROUP from November 16 to 18 in the city of Netishyn.
The conference was attended by representatives of scientific institutions, enterprises and organizations of the nuclear industry of Ukraine, related industries, as well as specialized higher education institutions.
During the three days of the conference, four scientific modules were held, within which topical issues of the functioning and development of the nuclear industry and nuclear research were considered, in particular, the strategy for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine, the specifics of the choice of reactor technologies, in particular the prospects for AP1000 reactors, scientific and technical support for the implementation of projects for construction of new NPP power units, as well as increasing the level of safety, improving the NPP equipment, modernizing the technologies and processes used at nuclear power facilities, etc.
